I’m a professor in the Department of Political Studies and coordinator of the Canadian Studies Program at the University of Manitoba, where I’ve been since 2012. I received a PhD in Political Science from the University of British Columbia in 2009.

I write about representation, political parties, local government, and online political communication. I teach courses primarily on Canadian politics.

Since 2021, I’ve served as Academic Director of the Centre for Social Science Research and Policy, the focal point for social science research at the University of Manitoba.
